The students will use the Hear Myself Sound Phone for fluency and to help them during their independent reading time or groups. They will also have access to books at their reading level. The alaphabet stamps, high frequency sight sord stamps, and alphabet beads will help the students learn in a fun hands-on way during the literacy period. Reading is so important. It builds communication skills, mastery of language, logical thinking skills, new experiences, and reading is fun! This project is so very critical to the success of my students because they need to be able to have access to learning materials that can get them excited to read and write. Reading is a way to enhance a students vocabulary development. This gives them a sense of accomplishment and security knowing they are thriving in literacy!
