As a fourth grade teacher I am constantly looking for new ways to motivate our students. Moving our classroom outdoors has allowed me to reach some of my hardest to reach kids. In our community, playing outside isn't always an option. So when I am able to provide an outdoor learning environment, kids get excited! Our school is just south of Kansas City, Missouri. We serve approximately 400 bright and enthusiastic elementary kids. Our student population is ethnically diverse and our school culture is one that promotes compassion and character.
