I am a 5th grade English Language Arts/Reading and Social Studies teacher. I work with ESL students, gifted students and students that are amazing in so many different ways. My main goal as a teacher is to provide a safe space for students to be able to be themselves and enjoy learning. I want students to feel they can express their thoughts and ideas, and I want to help them begin to truly think about what goes on in the world around them. I am focused on fostering a love for reading, writing and learning that I hope will stay with my students for many years to come.
