On this trip, students will observe real animals and experience the connection with wildlife. Animals have a universal draw. Zoos are the ultimate in interdisciplinarity. Students will get to experience active learning, outside the confines of four walls. At the zoo, different learning styles can easily be accommodated and this is most beneficial for our students. Students will learn the delicate balance between animal species and their habitats, while also learning the importance of zoos and the role they play in scientific research and species conservation. Students will understand the importance of taking care of the environment as it has a significant impact on the lives and welfare of animals.

About my class
