First and Second grade students at our school are all fired up about reading a selection of books called the Sunshine State Young Readers, Junior books. Brag tags are being offered for each book read. Unfortunately, our media center only has two copies of each book. Hard for 220 kids to read the books when there are not enough copies. The books will introduce students to several genres and give students great books to practice their reading to enhance their learning. Reading any of these books gives students choices for a school competition in January where they can create a 2 D art project or a book trailer.
