Our school is a Title I school in rural Florida. The majority of our students are on free and reduced lunch. We work very hard to instill the value of education in our students - something that they don't always get at home. Because most of our students come from underprivileged homes, they are not always exposed to educational and cultural activities outside of school. I use books, videos, and field trips to teach my students about places and things that they would otherwise never experience. In turn, my students enjoy choosing their own books and reading more about what we are learning.
