These standing desks will offer a safe and mobile alternative to those students who are now simply standing behind a traditional desk. Many of these students struggle in a classroom where they are expected to sit quietly and do their work. I want to offer these students an environment where they can do their best. These will allow me to offer accommodations to those who need them, while not distracting those students who prefer the traditional desk. This also increases the safety of my students while they learn. Students will not have the distraction of a traditional chair that usually just get knocked over.
