The books that I am requesting for my students will be used during our daily independent reading time. My students love to read around the classroom and they are always waiting to go to the library for a new graphic novel. I would love to give my class more choice in the books within the classroom. My goal for my students is for them to become lifelong readers. When students are given choices and books that they love, they build the reading stamina they need to become fluent readers and writers.
