In South Carolina, my school district is using a hybrid A/B schedule model that will bring my students in my class twice a week. Ideally, we can have this purifier running before students arrive on August 17th. This air purifier will help my students learn in the classroom by cleaning the air of any harmful particles that may spread due to the nature of the playing musical instruments. While social distancing and minimizing play will help, an air purifier will help ensure that aerosols (air particles) do not contaminate the air in our room. Breathing is such an important aspect of playing a wind instrument. We will be able to breathe with ease and conviction with clean, purified air! If my students are hesitant to commit to breathing, we will be unable to produce the characteristic sounds on our instruments every day. Please donate to help me fund this project!
