Due to COVID-19, our school year will start with 100% distance learning. We will not be able to share materials this year. In order for my students to start their education journey successfully, I want to provide some supplies that we use daily in the classroom. I am redesigning my classroom instruction to make sure to keep my students healthy and to make sure they have a positive, successful start to their first year of education. This project will provide each student with a whiteboard and whiteboard markers. The whiteboard will be used at home for distance learning and used at school when and if we return to school. We will use the whiteboard for all academic areas. This will help reduce the amount of paper we use and provide a sturdy writing surface for students no matter where they are learning from. This project will also provide golf pencils and pencil sharpeners for each student. The golf pencils will help encourage proper pencil grip and increase hand strength. The pencil sharpeners for each student will let them sharpen their own pencils when needed to prevent the spread of germs.
