We are a one to one school. My students listen to reading daily, using different apps and tools. We have a listening center to help build their listening comprehension skills. We use IPADS to listen to stories and Videos on EPIC! to learn new facts on topics or just for the enjoyment of reading. We use a learning program, IREADY, on our netbooks that require that reads to them. We also use Kindles to listen to reading to help build fluency. However, we need durable headphones that won't break to help give these students the experience to learn in these different ways.
