These lap boards, algebra tiles, and other objects will help my students to develop concrete concepts that they can actually put their hands on. Children learn in various ways. Being able to really see their ideas play out on their desk will be a great asset to their learning experience in class. Sometimes math is very abstract and having manipulatives will help my students solidify some hard-to-grasp math concepts. Being able to actually put you see in a math book to work on your desk, helps to bring it to life.
