My project involves printing, cutting, and laminating different and creative games, and cards which will become part of math centers for students to practice learned skills in an innovative way. Students will travel from center to center after whole class lesson where they would find a container with either a math game or cards to which they would have to find the solution. They will utilize dices, manipulatives, graphing paper and any other necessary tool to further explain their mathematical reasoning to solve the problems. The plan is to make these centers a world of opportunities to see mathematics as a fun, interactive subject in which everybody can learn. These centers will impact students image of mathematics and open their eyes to consider and value the math around them as a tangible treasure.
