My students are surrounded by videos and music everywhere they go. Once they come to school they are shut out of the fast-paced world of technology. I want my them to be able to learn how to use technology for a variety of skills that will help them academically and in the real world. Many students I teach are economically disadvantaged. They do not have computers or access to the Internet at home. They are very curious, and a little afraid, of technology. However, in order to help them become productive, employable members of society, it is our job as educators to show them the way.

About my class
