My students need to move. They are easily agitated, have hyperactivity and find it difficult to concentrate or focus. The desk cycles will allow them to move while seated and working. They calm my students and keep them in their seats. The sitting walker, bouncy bands and Balance Ball will help my students with sensory integration needs. The fidget toys will help those of my students who need to be doing some thing with their hands in order to concentrate during direct instruction. We have borrowed some of these pieces of equipment from another teacher....HUGE difference in class. Students are on task 80% of the time; they are polite and kind to one another; they focus on work and do not become distracted. Their learning and grades improve and their inappropriate behavior decrease dramatically.
