My school is a public charter which services the latino population in this city. The children are second graders wanting to make a difference in their school life. They are poverty stricken students, in a world where they are struggling to belong to. These students are not just wanting to better themselves, but their community as well. They come to school earlier than most, leave later, have one hundred ninety days of school and still donate their time and energy off school hours to help out in anything that the school needs, or to cheer the soccer team. Our school is only three years old and it is a family already. We value hard work,commitment and enjoyment of life for all and for the individual, in both character and academics. We are the school and the school is us!

About my class
