All students can learn, some just have more obstacles to overcome than others. I teach a life skills classroom, grades 9-12,to students with moderate to severe disabilities. We are located in a high poverty level area that struggles with few employment opportunities. Jobs are scarce for the whole population, and individuals with disabilities struggle even more when they do not have any job skills.
