There are a million transitions throughout the school day. Our time to learn and work on building our brains is so precious, that we try to create as few obstacles as possible. Having a place to sit and learn that is ready for my students when we switch to small group learning time will help with time wasted, as well as prevent the aching struggle it can be to lug furniture back and forth across our room. Help us smooth our transitions! We have two group tables to which we rotate small groups through for phonics activities, reading comprehension, and more. Our small group time is an important intervention for those groups of students who have specific needs which need to be met. As we transition, we are hindered by both the time used to move chairs, and the clutter and confusion it can cause as we pull chairs from surrounding student desks. These stools would help keep our classroom in order and help us waste less time as students try to find their seats.
