In order for my students to be able to have a fun, rewarding, and successful time in their music performance classes, it is vital that they are given the resources to succeed. Even just a wooden reed or a violin string can be a burden on some families. Music education is important for everyone, regardless of race, income or social background. This way, all students can learn to love performing without having to spend an entire paycheck just for a method book. By giving these students reeds, strings and method books, it greatly increases their chance of continuing to love music throughout their lives.
