My classroom consist of bilingual and ESL students. We share and celebrate the different cultures by exposing different types of books, videos, articles, and experiences. Our school is extremely diverse with more than 40 languages spoken. The one thing we have in common is the joy to read. The different types of genres help expose my students' interest. Any form of reading is encouraged, even joke books! My students are very enthused but at times are discouraged to visit out classroom library because it is not attractive. They are still learning how to not judge a book by its cover!
