My students are smart, fun and full of personality. They love technology, but they also need to learn the skills that go with using technology. Sometimes they look and act like adults, but they still need lots of nurturing and encouragement. Our school is located in a middle-class suburb in the South. Our school divides each grade into teams, so we work kind of like a family. As teachers on this team, we teach many of the same kids each day, and they have most of their classes with the same group of kids. This makes us feel more connected, and it helps us look out for them like a family!
