Please consider contributing to this much needed project which has a goal of putting nonfiction books in the hands of students who may not otherwise experience the joy of reading this genre of texts. As a teacher of striving readers in primary grades, my culturally diverse students do not have life experiences required in today's environment. The recent cuts in education only further exacerbate this problem. Therefore, I'm appealing to the private sector in hopes that my students will receive these much needed materials.
