Our class wants to start a novel study, and what better book to do so than "Wonder" by R.J. Palacio! Through this book, I will be able to expose and teach my scholars the importance of friendship and acceptance. This is something that all scholars, especially those in underprivileged schools and communities, will benefit from learning. I want my scholars to understand the importance of friendship and accepting who they are. People are different in many ways and I want to show them that these differences make us who we are and that it is ok to be different!

About my class
