The iPads will be used daily, for Accelerated Reader quizzes so students can meet their goals. They will also be used consistently for students to practice their math facts on Reflex Math and Front Row. My classroom right now does not have computers for the students to use, except for a computer cart that is shared among the rest of the grade level as well. My students need more opportunities to use technology to help them learn! Due to the current technology situation, where we share one computer cart among four classes, my students have only had limited time to practice their math facts and take AR quizzes. I am only asking for enough funding for 4 iPads because even just having four will make a tremendous difference in our classroom. Living in a world where technology keeps advancing quickly, it is important for students to become comfortable and literate on how to use some of the technology early on. In this case there is the added benefit that they get more opportunities to meet their reading and math goals!
