I've created this project to help purchase a classroom carpet for my students. I want my students to be able to sit comfortably on the floor while we read stories and complete large group activities. My classroom is in a new school and right now there is not a carpet for these lessons. I know a specific place on a warm carpet would give my students a sense of ownership in the classroom and therefore help them to focus on each lesson. I've created this project to help purchase a classroom carpet for my students. I don't want my sweet kindergarten children sitting on the hard floor. Thank you so much for supporting my classroom! I am extremely grateful of your generosity and I know my students will be too!
