These dyslexia students will benefit from manipulatives in our new classroom. Our student will be state testing this year and are in great need of motivational hands-on activities to enhance their learning. They go through additional stress trying to perform on-level and with the help of a blends and diagraphs kits our students will be able to decode words better creating better fluency and comprehension. In addition, using the phonics word manipulative and writing words will bring their learning to a new level. Using a variety of hands-on phonic skills resources such as the sound-it-out puzzles and stretchers will motivate and engage my dyslexia students resulting in better word decoding. We practice every day and these resources will expose them at a different level. Creating new differentiated activities with additional resources such as the word building boards will help them grow academically.
