My special needs math students need a projector and an Elmo. These technologies are needed in my classroom because the majority of my students are visual learners, have learning disabilities, have social and emotional disabilities, and have short attention spans. These technologies will provide my students with increased engagement and better learning retention. These technologies will provide my special needs students with increased engagement and learning retention by providing better visibility of lessons, by providing more class interaction/collaboration, by providing improved presentation of text, and by providing improved audio, graphics, and educational video presentations (lessons, games, etc.). In addition, these technologies allow students to tackle math problems as a class, allow students to watch and interact with online and live demonstrations, videos, games, and hands on activities. Your donations will improve my classroom engagement, my student retention, my student collaboration, and my classroom management because I will be able to provide more engaging, motivating, and hands on activities.
