My students lack basic school supplies. My project would provide my students with basic supplies such as crayons, glue, markers and paper. Supplies such as these need to be replenished each school year. These materials would level the playing field between my inner-city students and their suburban peers. I would use these materials in all subjects in school. Early childhood classrooms integrate art materials during literacy, math and writing activities. My students enjoy creating art projects to decorate our school hallways. These art projects help my students develop fine motor skills. These materials will be greatly appreciated by both my students and myself.
