The vocabulary cards will be used by 4; 2 grade teachers to create a word wall. It will be for reading, math and science cards. The students will be able to use the vocabulary cards to improve their writing skills and deepen their understanding of academic vocabulary. The hope is that the students will use the cards to improve the knowledge and vocabularies. The word walls are interactive. The students will be able to get the words from the wall. By increasing the students academic vocabulary the students will gain a working knowledge of the different academic areas to increase their knowledge.
