Perspectives Charter Schools is a network of innovative schools on the south-side of Chicago, serving a student population that is 95% African American. Many of our students are socioeconomically disadvantaged. Yet they do an incredible job of getting through high school and onto college - we have a 99% college acceptance rate for our seniors. We teach grades 6-12 across our five different schools, and we pride ourselves on teaching our students to be worldly citizens. We do this by teaching them through a unique social-emotional learning model called the 26 Principles of A Disciplined Life.
