The iPads will be a visual support as well as a means of communication for many of my students. Many of these children do not have access to technology at home and our classroom does not have the proper technology to evolve in the current technological driven world. My students will take advantage of speech apps as well as apps to support their reading, writing and math goals. In addition we would take advantage of the adhesive chalk board and dry erase board to be used as a base for our over head projector to keep students engaged in the lesson and promote tactile and visual learning. Lastly my students light up every time we have the opportunity to sing and dance. We would use the rhythm sticks as a musical mathematic activity and to provide an avenue of expression for those students who are musically inclined. I have younger students and it is my goal to provide the proper foundation to communicate and develop language to express themselves.
