My students are some of the brightness, caring and hard working students I have ever worked with! My school is a super diverse environment, with three music teachers (WOW!) and 500 incredible young adults. They LOVE LOVE LOVE making music and we literally can't get enough of making music together. They come to the music room to jam during breakfast, lunch and afterschool and I am proud to say that the building managers have to kick us out when it is time for the building to close. My students make our schoolhouse come alive with music making! We are a Title 1 school, where the majority of the students qualify for a free or reduced fee lunch. As is the case in many schools, we have an over abundance of will, mastery and passion, and are severely underfunded. Here is where you; my community comes in and helps! Thanks from the bottom of our hearts for helping us get the tools we need to change the world!
