I teach first grade students. My students are hard working and excited about learning. First grade is a pivotal year in each child's life. In first grade our students transform reading foundation into reading fluency and comprehension and create concepts maps that become the mathematical foundation for the rest of their lives. It is amazing to watch this happen over the school. However, it takes a lot of hard work, flexibility, and resources to make transformation happen. Each year it is my goal to start projects that will enhance my students learning environment and make the first grade journey more enriching and beneficial than the ever before!

About my class
