My students are 6th, 7th, and 8th graders. Most of them come from low-income families where computers and Internet are not very common as a household commodity. The school is a public Charter school that is run by a nonprofit organization. Hence, the scarcity of technology and instructional resources for classroom use. Teachers usually have to buy most of their own technology and the instructional resources to use in their classrooms.
