-----Together we will close the achievement gap in education.----- My K-5 students are from a moderate-poverty school in the rural mid-west. All of my students have been identified as at-risk for academic and/or behavioral concerns. Some of my students are struggling with academics, others struggle with behavior, some are English Language Learners, and others are learning to function in foster care; but all are deserving of a quality educational experience. With appropriate interventions and small group instruction, each student has the ability to develop the skills necessary to to meet grade level expectations and thrive in a classroom of their peers. With your help and my commitment, we can help these students to close the gap in education.
