I teach 10th and 11th grade students Algebra II in north Philadelphia. A lot of students from my school do not have the same opportunities as other students. My students are extremely hard-working, and push themselves to try to learn. Unfortunately, our class sizes are larger than the classroom sets of calculators we have. My students are not able to utilize the calculators to the best of their abilities which could set them back while taking standardized state testing.
