Many students do not get to fully participate in band class on a daily basis due to broken, cracked, or lost reeds. Like paper without a pencil, a clarinet or saxophone without a reed is useless! Reeds are consumables that need to be replaced every four to six weeks in order for students to experience success on their instrument. When a student goes an extended period of time without the supplies they need to participate, they fall behind their peers. They begin to feel like failures on their instruments and quickly lose interest. Once the interest is gone, students begin to act out, disrupting the success of the other students in the class. Please help us keep all students engaged and successful by providing them with the supplies they deparately need! Thank you!!
