I teach at a K-12 Title I rural school. Most all of our students come from low income families. Our school decided to offer soccer this year as an additional sport for the students to play. There was a lot of excitement for the sport and I ended up having enough students to field a co-ed team. Due to the lack of funding, we have had to play all our games at other schools. If we had the equipment to play home games, it would not only boost our school spirit, but also provide us with some funds to become self-sustaining.

About my class
