My students are enrolled at a 100 percent free lunch school. Their ability to travel in the community is restricted for safety and proximity to their homes, of which are too far as they are bused to school. These are great kids who have IEP goals and transition plans but little support from the state and school district. Some of my students stay here until they are 21 and may go to college, but need extra skills like retail to secure jobs in the future.
