We're a multicultural special education school situated on the Massachusetts/New Hampshire Border. My students are all in a sub separate room and range from 1st through 4th grade. They all carry an Autism diagnosis and all have severe expressive vocabulary and behavioral problems. Each of our students work with a one to one aide. With that being said they are the funniest, happiest bunch of kids that you'll ever see. They work mainly on discrete trials during the day and all use Picture exchange books to communicate. Non verbal doesn't mean they can't communicate, we giggle, make noises, stimm, and generally get pretty noisy. We spend most of our day within our classroom with frequent motor breaks to a large sensory motor room. We have an awesome playground that we love to go play on.
