I am an Early Intervention Counselor, and the students I service come from low-income families, who are often hungry; which causes them to function below grade level and not perform as well in classes if given healthy snacks. So I wrote a second project that focuses on healthy snacks, juices, and snack bars. The students are from grades 6-8, and given nutritious food or snacks, they will focus more, stay on task, and participate in class and definitely be more alert to the task as hand.

About my class
