These books will enhance the development of math concepts in an enjoyable and fun way for my students that I strive to create in my classroom. My math classroom library is a place where my students get the best of both worlds math and literacy. My students seem to enjoy reading the books on their own over and over again after I have read it to them out loud. Together with the whiteboards I will be able to create/develop meaningful hands on lesson where my students can show what they are thinking by using symbols, numbers or illustrations. The whiteboards will provide me the opportunity to see what my students are thinking, understanding and what is challenging them. This information will allow me to provide more personal instruction to each of my students.
