Our school has 640 students from kindergarten to 5th grade. We have a diverse group of students with different cultures, economic backgrounds, learning capabilities, styles, and interests! My students love to explore, be creative, gain more knowledge and read! This is my 2nd year as the librarian! The library is 22 years old. The wonderful part of my job is teaching all 650 students weekly! The library is like a home and is inviting to my students! My main goal is inspiring my students to enjoy amazing books. In the Library, I actively engage students through activities, teach Common Core Standards, facilitate small groups, inspire creativity, boost confidence levels, make global connections through books, inspire the love of books, and use a variety of technology tools.
