Our students are from Tolleson, AZ, a very low socioeconomic area. Many come from monolingual families who strive to support their students' education process with very little financial support. Many come from multi-generational families living in 1 - 2 room homes, or just looking to give their children a better life within our borders. Our students are bright, eager to learn and actually do run onto the school grounds with happy, smiling faces, looking for those teachers who share their desire to learn. Most do not have funds at home to accommodate the Internet services or technology. They get their only exposure to technology in my classroom. I hope to offer them projects that will inspire them to seek out careers in technology, robotics and science. With your help, we can do that.
