Hello! My name is Justine Long and I'm a Second Grade teacher at Midland Elementary. This is my 11th year teaching in the district and I have loved every minute of it. Our school district is unique in that we only have one school that houses grades Pre-K through 8th grade. Our high school students attend school in neighboring towns. Over the past years our school district has been hit hard by declining enrollment and budget cuts. We are no longer able to provide students with everything we once were but one thing I can say is that we have never cut back on the quality of education we provide our students and we definitely haven't cut back on the love we provide them. Every teacher in our district goes above and beyond for our students. We make whatever happen however we can. Many teachers go above and beyond and that's what makes our school such a special place.
