My students are all students with disabilities ranging from Learning Disability to Emotional Disability to Autism and Traumatic Brain Injury. Some of my students are in the poverty levels, while others are middle class to upper class. My students' motivation ranges from highly motivated and successful to somewhat motivated and fighting to be successful to not motivated and failing. I work with a lot of my student's parents as I attempt to find ways to motivate their child. I also have students who are forced to work part-time jobs along with going to school due to sick family members, single parent family, or financial need. Our school's mission to to promote the learning for all, which includes the student wanting to sleep during class.
