Our class is a lively bunch of dedicated and curious fourth grade girls. My students live and attend school in the South Bronx in New York City, a high poverty area. All students deserve a fair and equal opportunity to a rigorous, challenging and supportive educational community with the resources they need to succeed! There are some developing readers in my classroom struggling to find high-interest books on their level. With your support, my girls will have books they want to read while developing the skills they need to continue to reach their goals.
