I work with all male students to help them increase behavior, attendance and academic issues. I meet with them one on one, and in groups, and we work on Social skills, Academic activities, and sometimes we even play sports as our therapy. Sometimes I take some of the things they learn in class, and we work on it in our small group so they can get more one on one help with their lessons. Sometimes, I take what they like in order to reach them a little better. Let me give you an example of one of these daily activities. One way that I try to reach my students and motivate them to succeed is through writing raps, and writing poems. When I was in school this helped me get through, and I would go home and practice and it gave me something to focus on. I enjoy doing what I do, and I can say that my students motivate me on a daily basis just by coming to school and allowing me to work with them.
