"Nurturing kids hearts and souls as well as their minds and bodies is educating the whole child." (Maggie Dent) I strive to make my classroom welcoming and comfortable for learning. A place to make mistakes and great endeavors. I want my students to feel they can come to me and any of their friends with their needs, questions, or concerns. Each year I get a new bunch of amazing kiddos and I can find something different about each class. That's what so great about families. We encourage each other in achievements and pick each other back up through failures. If I could describe my class in one word it would be: family. That is just what we are. A family. Each of my students is an important part of the family. We are full of unique personalities. Creative, funny, intelligent, endearing, leaders. I could go on and on. We work together through every part of the day as a team; a family.
