Independence is a difficult skill for kindergarteners to foster. In order to develop independence, materials in a classroom must be organized and ready for immediate use. Currently, I do not have an organized storage area for my center activities; therefore, independence is difficult to achieve. Your donation to my project will allow my students to become independent as they practice fundamental skills on their individual levels. As I prepare my students, I want them to develop the skills and knowledge needed to be successful first graders. Practicing academic skills in individual centers independently is the best way for my students to achieve this goal. Thank you so much for supporting our class and allowing my students to become independent learners!
